Terms of Service
By downloading or using Extract Audio From Video+ ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
The app extracts the audio track from video files you supply, entirely on your own device. It lets you trim a video before extracting, export the result as M4A, WAV, or AAC, play and rename your extracts, share them, and save them as .m4r ringtone files. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Your content and copyright
You are solely responsible for the videos you import and for what you do with the audio you extract. You confirm that you own the content, or that you otherwise have the legal right to extract and use its audio.
Do not use the app to copy, distribute, or repurpose audio you do not have the rights to — including music, films, television, or other copyrighted works — where doing so would infringe someone's rights. Copyright law varies by country and it is your responsibility to comply with the law where you live. We provide a general-purpose media tool and take no responsibility for how you choose to use it.
You retain all rights to your own content. Because processing is local, we never receive it and claim no licence over it.
3. Free tier
Without a purchase you may perform 3 extracts per day, from videos up to 5 minutes long, exported as M4A in Standard quality. Trimming, playback, renaming, and sharing are included at no cost. We may adjust these limits in future versions with reasonable notice.
4. Pro subscriptions and the Lifetime unlock
Pro removes the daily limit and video-length cap and adds WAV and AAC export, Original (no re-encoding) quality, batch extraction of up to 20 videos, and ringtone export. It is available as:
- Pro Weekly — $1.99 per week, auto-renewing
- Pro Yearly — $9.99 per year, auto-renewing, including a 3-day free trial for new subscribers
- Pro Lifetime — $19.99 as a single, non-renewing payment
Prices are shown in US dollars for reference; your actual price depends on your App Store region and is always displayed and confirmed by Apple before you are charged.
Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
Free trial. The 3-day trial on the yearly plan is available once per Apple ID, to users who have not previously used a trial or subscription for this app. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid yearly subscription. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during it.
Cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Restoring. Use Restore Purchases in the app's Settings tab, signed in with the Apple ID you bought with, to re-activate Pro on a new or reset device.
Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under their policy — we cannot issue them directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Apple Media Services Terms
In addition to these Terms, your use of the app is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: Apple Standard EULA.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app, attempt to bypass the free-tier limits or purchase verification, or use the app for anything unlawful. We may withdraw access for serious or repeated violations.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Media processing depends on Apple's frameworks and on the specific file you provide; some videos may fail to import or extract, and we do not guarantee that every file will work or that output will meet a particular standard.
Keep your originals. Files created by the app live only inside the app's storage on your device. Deleting the app, or removing an item from your library, permanently deletes those files. We are not responsible for lost audio — export anything important to Files or another app.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Intellectual property
The app, its name, icon, design, and code are owned by TQ Tech and are protected by copyright. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of anything.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves, revising the "Last updated" date above. Material changes to pricing or subscription terms will be reflected in the App Store before they take effect. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
